About the Game

Project Justice

Return to the halls of high school combat in Project Justice, the thrilling sequel to Rival Schools: United By Fate. Step back into the ring and experience a refined, expanded fighting system that elevates team-based brawls to new heights.

Revolutionary Combat System

Project Justice builds upon the foundation of its predecessor, introducing exciting new mechanics for intense three-on-three battles:

  • Teams of Three: Assemble your ultimate squad of three characters, unlocking a wider array of strategic possibilities and devastating combos.
  • Team-Up Attacks: Coordinate with your teammates for powerful, synchronized special moves that can turn the tide of any fight.
  • Party-Up Attacks: Unleash a unique three-person assault by pressing any three attack buttons. The nature of this devastating attack varies based on the school of the initiating character, offering distinct visual flair and combat impact.
  • Team-Up Cancellation: The additional partner in a three-person team opens up a new defensive maneuver. Input a Team-Up command of your own to initiate a brief, high-stakes fighting sequence against one opponent. Land the first hit within the time limit to cancel their Team-Up Special and return to the main fray. Fail, and their attack continues as planned.

Strategic Vigor Management

Master the flow of battle with a streamlined vigor meter, now limited to 5 levels. Efficiently manage your resources:

  • Party-Ups: Require the full 5 vigor levels.
  • Team-Ups: Continue to cost 2 vigor levels.
  • Team-Up Cancellation Attempts: Cost 1 vigor level, regardless of success.

Unlockable Content and Customization

While the character creation mode from the Japanese Dreamcast release is a unique board game experience set during an inter-school festival, non-Japanese ports offer their own exciting unlockables. Discover and utilize a variety of unlockable sub-characters, expertly crafted from the extensive character creation parts featured in the original Japanese version.
