AMD released the Ryzen 3 3100 processor :year_text, expanding its popular :family_text series. The die is produced using 7 nm technology. A motherboard with a compatible motherboards platform will be required for PC assembly. The CPU received 4 physical cores. Thanks to multi-threading technology, it processes up to 8 data threads. Starting operating frequencies begin at 3.6 GHz. Automatic overclocking algorithms allow the chip to accelerate up to 3.9 GHz when the system demands it. Since the multiplier here is unlocked, enthusiasts will be able to squeeze additional megahertz out of the processor. Thanks to 16 MB of L3 cache, latency when accessing RAM is reduced. Nominal power consumption (TDP) is 65 W, so adequate cooling should be considered. While Ryzen 3 3100 is not positioned as a flagship gaming solution, it is quite capable of handling popular games at medium settings when combined with a discrete graphics card.
