AMD released the EPYC 9224 processor :year_text, expanding its popular :family_text series. The hardware foundation of the die is based on 5 nm manufacturing norms, ensuring high transistor density. The compatible motherboards connector is supported. Multitasking is implemented through 24 cores and 48 computing threads, which is sufficient for comfortable work. The base clock speed is 2.5 GHz. Automatic overclocking algorithms allow the chip to accelerate up to 3.7 GHz when the system demands it. For fast data exchange, 64 MB of third-level cache memory (L3) is provided.
