The ZOTAC GTX 1070 AMP! Extreme graphics adapter is based on the advanced Pascal architecture. NVIDIA announced this model on 10.06.2016. At the core of the card is a chip created with modern lithography. The die houses 7.2 billion transistorsistors transistors, and its area is 314 mm². For graphics processing, 1920 shader units are provided. The technological equipment is complemented by 0 RT Cores and 0 Tensor Cores. The GDDR5 video memory capacity is 8 GB. Thanks to the 256 bit-bit bus, bandwidth reaches 256.30 GB/s, eliminating delays when working with demanding textures. In standard mode, the core operates at 1633 MHz, but auto-overclocking technology allows it to reach 1835 MHz under load. The nominal thermal design power is 150 W. For stable system operation, a PSU of 450 W or more will be required.
