The MAXSUN RTX 2080 SUPER iCraft OC (Turing) model joined the NVIDIA lineup of graphics accelerators on 23.07.2019. Thanks to modern manufacturing technology, engineers managed to place 13.6 billion transistorsistors transistors on a 545 mm² die. The core configuration includes 3072 shader units, 48 RT Cores for ray tracing, and 384 Tensor Cores for AI tasks. The GDDR6 video memory capacity is 8 GB. Thanks to the 256 bit-bit bus, bandwidth reaches 495.90 GB/s, eliminating delays when working with demanding textures. In standard mode, the core operates at 1650 MHz, but auto-overclocking technology allows it to reach 1845 MHz under load. The nominal thermal design power is 250 W. For stable system operation, a PSU of 600 W or more will be required.
