Intel released the Xeon E5-2637 v3 processor :year_text, expanding its popular :family_text series. The chip is manufactured using a 22 nm process node and is designed for installation in the compatible motherboards socket. Multitasking is implemented through 4 cores and 8 computing threads, which is sufficient for comfortable work. In standard mode, the chip operates at 3.5 GHz. Automatic overclocking algorithms allow the chip to accelerate up to 3.7 GHz when the system demands it. The processor is equipped with a spacious buffer: the L3 cache memory volume is 15 MB. The manufacturer indicates heat dissipation at 135 W in standard operating mode. In entry-level or mid-range gaming builds, this processor will perform confidently, providing acceptable frame rates when using an appropriate graphics accelerator.
