Intel released the Xeon E3-1225 v3 processor :year_text, expanding its popular :family_text series. Thanks to the use of the 22 nm process node, the manufacturer achieved an excellent balance of performance. The chip is installed in the compatible motherboards socket. The die configuration includes 4 computing cores with support for 4 threads. By default, the cores function at 3.2 GHz. Thanks to dynamic overclocking technologies, the maximum frequency rises to 3.6 GHz. For fast data exchange, 8 MB of third-level cache memory (L3) is provided. The TDP level for this model is set within 84 W. While Xeon E3-1225 v3 is not positioned as a flagship gaming solution, it is quite capable of handling popular games at medium settings when combined with a discrete graphics card.
