In standard mode, the chip operates at 3.3 GHz. Under heavy loads, the frequency can automatically increase up to 4.3 GHz. Thanks to 8 MB of L3 cache, latency when accessing RAM is reduced. The manufacturer indicates heat dissipation at 71 W in standard operating mode. While Xeon E-2124 is not positioned as a flagship gaming solution, it is quite capable of handling popular games at medium settings when combined with a discrete graphics card.
