The Core Ultra 7 265K processor from Intel was officially introduced to the market :year_text. Thanks to the use of the 3 nm process node, the manufacturer achieved an excellent balance of performance. The chip is installed in the compatible motherboards socket. Computational power is provided by 20 cores (of which 8 are P-Cores and 12 are E-Cores). Multi-threading up to 20 threads is supported. By default, the cores function at 3.9 GHz. In Turbo Boost mode, this indicator can reach 5.5 GHz. Moreover, an unlocked multiplier opens up possibilities for further manual overclocking. For fast data exchange, 30 MB of third-level cache memory (L3) is provided. Nominal power consumption (TDP) is 125 W, so adequate cooling should be considered. When power limits are removed or during peak boost (PL2), the chip's appetite increases to 250 W. This is an uncompromising option for gaming. The chip demonstrates outstanding results in esports disciplines and demanding open-world games, minimizing frame rate drops (1% Low).
