The Core Ultra 7 164U processor from Intel was officially introduced to the market :year_text. Thanks to the use of the 7 nm process node, the manufacturer achieved an excellent balance of performance. The chip is installed in the compatible motherboards socket. Thanks to the combination of 2 performance and 10 efficiency cores (total 12 cores / 14 threads), the chip easily handles multitasking. By default, the cores function at 1.1 GHz. Thanks to dynamic overclocking technologies, the maximum frequency rises to 4.8 GHz. For fast data exchange, 12 MB of third-level cache memory (L3) is provided. The processor's base thermal design power (TDP) is stated at 9 W. The gaming performance of Core Ultra 7 164U is at a high level. Architectural improvements and a spacious cache allow the system to rapidly process game engine physics.
