The processor is based on advanced 3 nm lithography and is compatible with the compatible motherboards connector. The processor features an advanced hybrid architecture, offering 8 cores (4 performance and 4 efficiency) and capable of handling up to 8 threads simultaneously. In standard mode, the chip operates at 2.1 GHz. Automatic overclocking algorithms allow the chip to accelerate up to 4.5 GHz when the system demands it. The L3 smart cache size is 8 MB, which positively affects the overall system responsiveness. The TDP level for this model is set within 17 W. When power limits are removed or during peak boost (PL2), the chip's appetite increases to 37 W. Regarding gaming performance, Core Ultra 5 228V is an excellent solution for gaming builds.
