The Core i7-4820K model:family_text, developed by Intel engineers, expanded the range of desktop solutions :year_text. Thanks to the use of the 22 nm process node, the manufacturer achieved an excellent balance of performance. The chip is installed in the compatible motherboards socket. The CPU received 4 physical cores. Thanks to multi-threading technology, it processes up to 8 data threads. Starting operating frequencies begin at 3.7 GHz.
