Intel released the Core i5-1245U processor :year_text, expanding its popular :family_text series. The die is produced using 10 nm technology. A motherboard with a compatible motherboards platform will be required for PC assembly. A hybrid design is employed here: 2 powerful cores handle heavy tasks, while 8 efficiency cores manage background processes. The total number of threads is 12. By default, the cores function at 1.6 GHz. During resource-intensive tasks, the clock speed boosts to an impressive 4.4 GHz. For fast data exchange, 12 MB of third-level cache memory (L3) is provided. The manufacturer indicates heat dissipation at 15 W in standard operating mode. When power limits are removed or during peak boost (PL2), the chip's appetite increases to 55 W.
