The Ryzen 9 7940H model:family_text, developed by AMD engineers, expanded the range of desktop solutions :year_text. The die is produced using 4 nm technology. A motherboard with a compatible motherboards platform will be required for PC assembly. The die configuration includes 8 computing cores with support for 16 threads. In standard mode, the chip operates at 4 GHz. Thanks to dynamic overclocking technologies, the maximum frequency rises to 5.2 GHz.
