AMD released the Ryzen 5 4500U processor :year_text, expanding its popular :family_text series. Thanks to the use of the 7 nm process node, the manufacturer achieved an excellent balance of performance. The chip is installed in the compatible motherboards socket. Multitasking is implemented through 6 cores and 6 computing threads, which is sufficient for comfortable work. In standard mode, the chip operates at 2.3 GHz. Under heavy loads, the frequency can automatically increase up to 4 GHz. The processor is equipped with a spacious buffer: the L3 cache memory volume is 8 MB. The TDP level for this model is set within 15 W. Regarding gaming performance, the chip provides a basic level of comfort. It's perfectly suited for casual games, online projects, or esports disciplines where extreme power isn't required.
