AMD released the EPYC Embedded 2655 processor :year_text, expanding its popular :family_text series. The die is produced using 4 nm technology. A motherboard with a compatible motherboards platform will be required for PC assembly. The computational arsenal of this model includes 12 cores, capable of executing 24 instruction threads simultaneously. By default, the cores function at 2.7 GHz. During resource-intensive tasks, the clock speed boosts to an impressive 4.5 GHz. Thanks to 64 MB of L3 cache, latency when accessing RAM is reduced. Nominal power consumption (TDP) is 55 W, so adequate cooling should be considered. This is an uncompromising option for gaming. The chip demonstrates outstanding results in esports disciplines and demanding open-world games, minimizing frame rate drops (1% Low).
