AMD released the EPYC 7413 processor :year_text, expanding its popular :family_text series. Thanks to the use of the 7 nm process node, the manufacturer achieved an excellent balance of performance. The chip is installed in the compatible motherboards socket. The die configuration includes 24 computing cores with support for 48 threads. In standard mode, the chip operates at 2.7 GHz. Under heavy loads, the frequency can automatically increase up to 3.6 GHz. The processor is equipped with a spacious buffer: the L3 cache memory volume is 128 MB. Nominal power consumption (TDP) is 180 W, so adequate cooling should be considered. This is an uncompromising option for gaming. The chip demonstrates outstanding results in esports disciplines and demanding open-world games, minimizing frame rate drops (1% Low).
