AMD released the EPYC 7371 processor :year_text, expanding its popular :family_text series. The die is produced using 14 nm technology. A motherboard with a compatible motherboards platform will be required for PC assembly. The die configuration includes 16 computing cores with support for 32 threads. Starting operating frequencies begin at 3.1 GHz. Under heavy loads, the frequency can automatically increase up to 3.8 GHz. Moreover, an unlocked multiplier opens up possibilities for further manual overclocking. For fast data exchange, 64 MB of third-level cache memory (L3) is provided. Nominal power consumption (TDP) is 170 W, so adequate cooling should be considered. Regarding gaming performance, EPYC 7371 is an excellent solution for gaming builds. High operating frequencies and a solid amount of cache memory ensure stable and high FPS in modern AAA titles.
