AMD released the C-50 processor :year_text, expanding its popular :family_text series. The chip is manufactured using a 40 nm process node and is designed for installation in the compatible motherboards socket. The CPU received 2 physical cores. Thanks to multi-threading technology, it processes up to 2 data threads. By default, the cores function at 1 GHz. The processor's base thermal design power (TDP) is stated at 9 W. While C-50 is not positioned as a flagship gaming solution, it is quite capable of handling popular games at medium settings when combined with a discrete graphics card.
